3 Getting Paid

Registration & Getting Paid

The Conservatory will not pay for lessons that have occurred before a student registers. This is non-negotiable and part of your contract. It is up to the instructor to ensure students have registered before teaching any lessons and you will not be issued back-pay for lessons taught before registration.

Students can register for private lessons by visiting the Conservatory website or by calling SISNC at 306-585-5748.

Registration is complete after a student receives a copy of their receipt and confirmation of registration.

Note: it takes one business day to get student registrations into UR Community Schedulers; if a student registers the day of their first lesson, they will not be listed in UR Community and teachers must submit a manual attendance form for that lesson.

Payment Plans

Payment plans are available to students throughout the year, SISNC monitors these payments to ensure they are completed as scheduled.

When two scheduled payments in a row are missed SISNC will ask the instructor to stop teaching the student and contact the family to let them know that lessons cannot continue until the account is brought up to date. Once the account is paid off, SISNC lets both the student and instructor know that lessons can continue.

Attendance

Conservatory instructors are paid based on the lessons they teach; the Scheduler in UR Community is the basis for submitting a claim for each bi-weekly payroll period.

Instructors have 48 hours from the time of the lesson to enter attendance. After that time attendance is locked and instructors will have to submit attendance via the Online Manual Attendance form linked in UR Community.
