7 UR Community and Remote Teaching

UR Community (formerly CCE Community) is your online classroom. If you cannot access UR Community, please contact the SISNC office to get your username and have them reset your password.

UR Community is where you will find your attendance scheduler, contact information for your students and resources for teaching, recitals and scholarships. You can also personalize your UR Community lesson shell with listening links and/or videos for your students, PDF files, and more. Within UR Community there is also a Zoom link for lessons in case you or one of your students are sick and need to have a remote lesson in place of an in-person lesson.

The videos below have been created for UR Courses, the credit version of UR Community, and apply to both websites.

Remote Teaching

Each UR Community course shell has a Zoom link built in. This is so that teachers and students can meet online if that is their preference; it is also available for days when students or teachers are feeling ill and don’t want to share germs.

The videos below will walk you through the steps you need to use your Zoom link (note that in the video UR Courses is interchangeable with UR Community).
