10 Scholarships and Bursaries

The combined Bursary and Scholarship document is available in your UR Community lesson shell. General information is also below.

Bursaries

While the Conservatory has a limited amount of money available for bursaries, we also do not receive many applications.

Bursary applications are received year-round. They are reviewed on October 15 and February 15 each year and dispersed by the end of October and February.

The Conservatory also has many students who draw on funding from Creative Kids Saskatchewan, visit their website for more information.

Auditioned Scholarships

Students applying for Auditioned Scholarships are required to participate in a Conservatory Recital before the deadline for Auditioned Scholarships. There is an entry fee for Auditioned Scholarships and students are expected to put together a program as outlined in the Combined Bursaries and Scholarships document that is available in your UR Community Lesson shell.

The deadline for Auditioned Scholarships is usually the last weekend in February or the first weekend in March.

Non-Auditioned Scholarships

Students, teachers, and parents are encouraged to submit applications for non-auditioned scholarships. The student being nominated must have participated in a Conservatory Recital before the application deadline. The nomination form for Non-Auditioned Scholarships is available in your UR Community Lesson shell.
