6 Withdrawals

Withdrawal Policy for Students

If a student decides to quit lessons, they must submit a “Non-Credit Withdrawal” form to the SISNC office. Forms are available from SISNC. There is also a link to this form in your UR Community lesson shell.

Once the form is received by the office:

• • an email will be sent to the teacher informing them that we have received the form
  • the student will be charged for 4 lessons following submission of the form
  • once that amount has been paid, no further payments will be taken
  • the instructor will be paid for the 4 lessons

When the Instructor Initiates a Change

Instructors may initiate student withdrawals at any time, however instructor initiated withdrawals must be done in writing to the Head of the Conservatory. In such cases a refund will be issued for all remaining scheduled lessons.

Transfer between Instructors

Whether a transfer is initiated by student or instructor, there is no withdrawal fee charged if the student registers with another Conservatory Instructor.
