Essentials of Project Management by Adam Farag (CC-BY-NC-SA).

This textbook is designed specifically for college students enrolled in a business program including business accounting, administration, supply chain and human resources. The text is organized into fourteen chapters covering the project management process and the role of the project manager in implementing such a process. The book includes business case studies and interactive exercises in each chapter.  This educational resource is conveniently presented in a variety of AODA-compliant formats and written in a reader-friendly style. The book is designed to help students build understanding of the importance and applications of project management.

This book is based on a pre-existing openly licensed textbook donated to the commons by a benefactor who desires to remain anonymous. It has been collaboratively revised and updated by students and faculty at the University of Saskatchewan.

The primary purpose of this text is to provide an open source textbook that can be used in introductory project management courses. The objective is to develop a concise, widely applicable open source textbook that can be used in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. This text covers all aspects of the project management lifecycle. The author has intentionally left out examples from fields of practice like business, engineering and information technology in order to ensure this text has universal applicability. Technical Project Management in Living and Geometric Order – Third Edition by Jeffrey S. Russell, P.E.; Wayne P. Pferdehirt, P.E.; and John S. Nelson, P.E. (CC BY).

This book is the result of a collaboration among the instructors responsible for Technical Project Management, one of the ten required classes in the Master of Engineering Management (MEM) program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This class is designed to help students build on their past experiences and develop effective strategies for managing complex technical projects, with an emphasis on applying project management concepts to real-world problems.
